Overstayers beyond Planned End Date and OTJ

Created

None

Hi,

I've currently got an open query with the help desk on this one but no response as yet. I've seen some conflicting guidance through searches and was wondering if anyone had a written response from the ESFA for this to back up the process?

For an apprentice over the planned end date, is it expected that we should work to both ensuring the Planned Hours for the original duration and Minimum OTJ against the original duration are met and we would not be expected to re-calculate the minimum OTJ based on the new end date of the programme?

Thanks,

Danielle

There is no "new end date" though? The OTJ calc is between start and planned end only. Overstayers don't generate a larger number just because they've gone past PED.
