Aha, sorry, forgot about that. It's somewhat of an artefact of old models but you need to set the EmpStat date to the day before they start. Literally doesn't affect anything else, so it doesn't matter that there's a day difference.
This error msg is appearing on our system (MAYTAS) any idea why?

QQ: can a learner start their apprenticeship the same day as employment?
I've looked through the rules but nothing screaming yes or no.
