Entry tool isn;t carrying in learners with 2023 hybrid end

Hi All,

Hoping someone can help.

We have imported our R12 into the R01 Learner entry tool and the tool has wiped out all learners who had left in the 2021/22 year but had an end date which would impact 2022/23 QAR.

Has anyone else had this problem? This surely can't be correct as we need to keep reporting these learner to make sure our data is correct for the 22/23 year etc? If there isn't a fix we will need to manually add in 60 learners

The QAR uses the last 5 years ILR data so they will still be included in the QAR for 22/23 as they will be in the ILR in R14 21/22.

Thanks Martin,

So is it okay if these learner aren't showing in the 2022/23 ILR submissions? It just feels odd as this has never happened before and i feel somewhat uneasy having all those learners missing from the submission?

For example the kind of learners missing are as follows:

Learner:

Start Date: 27/01/2021

Predicted End Date: 11/12/2022

Actual End Date: 17/06/2021

Therefore he would impact the QAR data for 2022/23 given the initial planned end date being the later?

Learners that ended prior to 1/8/2022 are not included in the 2022/23 ILR. The QAR takes the data from the last 5 years data from R14 for each year so these learners will be included in the QAR for 22/23.

And, actually, if they were still in your ILR, it appears they'd count against you in the new Accountability Framework definition of "withdrawal", so it's doubly for the best that they're not there (although it makes working out your QAR by hand even more of a pig...).
