Visa Eligibility

Hi All,

Hoping  I can get some views on this. We have a learner who has submitted his Visa application and claims that because of the submission he has the right to work until such time as a decision is made on his application.  This is something he has been advised by staff at his business. The funding rules talk about people extending/changing immigration status but i cant see anything about how we'd handle this particular case.   We are unsure if this learner would be able to study an apprenticeship or if we'd have to wait to see the outcome of the visa application.

Any advise would be greatly appreciated
