Additional Payments - BIL
Created
None
Today seems to be a day of queries and sense checking! :)
An additional payment has been triggered for an employer, however, in the Next ILR return this learner will be placed on a break with the LDL before the additional payment triggered. I am assuming that the employer should not get this payment and it will be claimed back by the ESFA? or should the employer still get the payment? - I am sense checking as first time this has cropped up for me.
Thanks
Sarah

I would say the employer is not entitled to it as the learner is not "on program" on the 90th day. Whether ESFA claws back the money or not you still have to check entitlement e.g. has the learner been attending college
