Money support for Nursing associate apprenticeship
Created
None
Good afternoon
Does anyone know about £1,000.00 support for apprentices on the Nurse Associate Apprenticeship which providers claim and pass on. (If the student has applied directly for the course (direct entry) then the course provider can claim the £1,000 stipend from HEE which should then be passed directly onto the student).
I am not aware of any funding the University can claim for an apprentice unless it’s a Care Leavers Bursary or Employer Incentive. The bursary payment is for an apprentice if they have been in the care of a UK local authority.
The employer incentive is the Provider claims funding £1,000.00 for apprentices in the workplace which is paid to the employer if they are one of the following:-
16 to 18 years old,19 to 25 years old with an education, health, and care plan, 19 to 25 years old and they used to be in care
We claim the funding and pass this onto the employer in 2 instalments. The first £500 payment after 90 days on programme and another £500 payment after a year on programme.
If anyone knows about this £1,000 for Nurse Associates please could you let me know.
Many thanks
Jo

We deliver the NA programme Jo and I have not heard anything about this.
I will monitor this post too in case there is anything further available to them.
