I am having an issue adding a Z code learning aim onto a learner's record.  This is the error message I receive in FIS:

I have never used class codes before and I am 100% sure I am missing something simple such as missing a DAM or LDM code as part of the upload.

Can anyone push me in the right direction as I can only find guidance that provide the code categories but not where to add them on the ILR.

Looks like you've not put a Source of Funding in? So it's got nothing to do with the aim being non-reg?

this is another one of those "error says looks over here when actually you need to look over there" errors!

The source of funding has been entered as 105 which is Education and Skills Funding Agency (ESFA) - Adult.

Aha, Z0009289 is only eligible for MCAs/GLA, so you need the SoF for the appropriate devolved pot

(it may be that there's other DAM codes you need to use if they're oddly fully funded, but they are super specialised and yr MCA should be producing you a guide for that stuff)

Actually, not that easy as LARS does state that it is available for AEB funding too, hence the confusion, or is it only AEB funded through devolved budgets?

Devolved funding *is* AEB, you can only tell if it's National or Devolved (or both!) from the Category tab...
