Right to Work Stutus

You should ask if they have one of these documents biometric residence permit number, biometric residence card number or passport or national identity card you can then check their right to work @: https://www.gov.uk/prove-right-to-work

Or the employer may have already done this, and this is the document you have seen.

If this confirms their status and they meet the residency requirement then they would be eligible.

If they have settled status you should really see sight of this, funding rules are quite clear on this.

Thanks Kelly - they don't have settled status yet, so we'll go down the BRP route

if they are a EU national and have only applied I'm not sure you can enrol them, well thats the approach we take.

Rules do state that the learner must have settled/pre-settled.
