For non-levy employers it would be prudent to have systems in place to ensure that start dates are agreed on or after funding reservations have been made on DAS as the start date on DAS cannot be backdated, your only option is to amend the ILR start date to match that on DAS.

Yes, lots of people have had this problem, you are not the first and won't be the last I'm sure. But, as Martin says, the only option is to change the start in the ILR (and on all the accompanying paperwork) to October. At least you've caught it now so it shouldn't be too much of a problem.

Can someone advise me the issue we have is:
The date the learner was enrolled and put on the ILR is September 29th , the employer did ring fence the funding for the learner however did not go in to DAS until October to input the learners details only to find that the funding had expired. The employer was able to ringfence funding for the learner but could only input a start date of the October .
Meaning that the DAS and the ILR do not Match. Has anyone had this issue ?
Is there a way of fixing this problem.
