Hi, we have had a 16 year old potential study programme learner contact us to see if he is eligible to start on a study programme. He arrived in the UK on the 18th August 2022 and he has a residency permit as a dependant with leave to enter which expires on the 29th February 2024. We have looked in guidance but just thought we would also ask on here. Thanks in Advance, Helen.

Yes, depending on who they are dependant (!), will be one of Para 40.a, b, d or e. None of those paras require 3 years residency.
