Universal Credit Take-Home Pay Thresholds

Created

None

The ESFA-funded AEB Funding Rules for 2022-23 state that people on Universal Credit with a take-home pay of £345 (single claim) or £552 (joint claim) fall within the unemployed category and are eligible for full funding.

The JCP has released new threshold amounts of £494 and £782 respectively effective 26 September 2022 but I can't seem to find these new figures in any of the ESFA documents.

Can anyone please advise whether we are supposed to use these new figures or stick with the old amounts to determine full funding eligibility?

Hi I'm a bit late to the party but the AEB funding rules have been updated on 16 November to include and I'm sure you've probably found them now but I just had a panic wondering when they actually applied from as thought it could be April 2023 so I'm very interested where you saw that effective date of 26 September 2022 please if you can send me a link to it?
