Example: Original total TNP ½ £10,000 over 24 months but changed employer after 12 months
Funding from first employer (80% x £10,000) / 24 = 33.333 per month 12 months with first employer = £4,000
Total funding for next employer £6,000 (split between TNP 1 and EPA cost TNP 2)

Calculating Apprenticeship Cost for Change of Employer
Created
Hello everyone,
I was hoping someone could share how they calculate the cost left of an apprenticeship when the apprentice changes employer? I currently use a method to work out the remaining cost left on the apprenticeship (and if relevant the 5% contribution) but I am not sure if it is correct.
I have tried searching the ESFA to see if they have a formula but I must have missed it as I cannot find one.
Kind regards,
Faye
