Re start a learner who we ended in June 22

Any advice on how to re-start a learner who had been through all the knowledge workshops and finished her OPL with us and collated some evidence for her portfolio. Work demands meant that back in June 22 she wanted to withdraw from the programme, there were some personal issues too. Obviously we tried to encourage/persuade her to keep going and get to GW and on to EPA but she flatly declined. It seemed final so we didn't put her on a BIL, there is no OP funding available: she is still with same employer nothing has changed in that respect but she wants to come back on programme and attempt to complete. We are happy to support her to do this but how do I now bring her back on programme which is TLS Level 3? Is it a straight forward re-start but with £0 TNP 1 and 2?

Ah, sort of, but no!

If you've only had the on-prog then (assuming top of the band) there's still £900 of funding knocking about. so TNP 2 would be whatever the EPA cost is and TNP 1 would be £900 minus that. Then you'd set her new start and planned end based on how long she'll need from restarting to be ready for Gateway and the new on-progs would be over that many months.

Yes, this sounds a bit weird, but it's how it "works".

Thanks Steve that does make sense and I'm on it now; thanks Neville.
