Has anyone ever supported victims of modern day slavery or human trafficking? We've got a couple of potential learners who want to access ESOL classes but I can't see a way to treat them as eligible within the funding rules. They haven't even reached the point of applying for asylum yet, never mind having any kind of official status and can't prove how long they've been in the country, though definitely less than 3 years. However, this very much feels like the kind of situation where we ought to be able to offer support. Any suggestions?
