Last Date for New Starts 10 November 2022 on new AAT aims

Created

We have come across a few level 3 aims that have Adult Skills last date for new starts of 10 November 2022 including the new AAT aim (6036337X) that has only been available since September 2022. These are NSF L3 free courses for jobs category aims that have an effective to date of 2600.

The November LDNS is unusual especially for a new qualification right? Anyone know what this is about please?

Thanks

(How come no one noticed this before? Looks like it was set up like this (ie record in the mdb has the same created/updated dates)...)

I was having a bit of back and forth about these quals, let me ask.

A quick response!

It is possible, that providers who are delivering qualifications in the Free Courses for Jobs Offer, might think that those qualifications have been removed from the FCFJ offer when they see the end date in Adult Skills. This is not the case. The majority of aims in this offer, are currently in Advanced Learner Loans, so do not need Adult Skills validity (if they are using the appropriate LDM code – 378).

This seems to apply to the AAT where the Loans validity is through to the end of the year.

Thanks for your time Steve, that's really helpful. No need to worry then I guess. :-/

:-/ indeed...

(I did point out that this was A Bit Confusing, why would one look at Loans for a funded course?)
