The QAR definitely won't care if the original record is there because it's clever enough to link the records across years providing the learner ref is the same and you've got the Original Start Date in.
Worth pointing out that the Indicative Funding report (if you're using it!) is very much NOT clever enough so you're money will be all to whack in that without the original record.
ALSO that there's an outstanding query about how the Apps Accountability Framework is counting BILs if they're in this year's data but refer to previous years...

Break In Learning - R04 Return - Should it be included
Created
We have an apprentice that went on a Break in Learning in 2021/22 and they also have returned in 2021/22 so the Break in Learning record and Restart record were entered into the 2021/22 data accordingly.
In the 2022/23 we have the restart record carried over from 2021/22 but have not carried over the Break In Learning record to 2022/23 as it happened last year in 2021/22. However I am now doubting myself and thinking that we should also include in the 2022/23 Break In Learning record. Can someone please confirm if this is the case that it should be included in 2022/23?
With R04 rapidly approaching we want to avoid any unnecessary withdrawals against our Success rate due to not having the right data in the 2022/23 R04 submission so your help will be much appreciated.
