Change of employer from previous academic year

Hi,  We have an apprentice who changed employer last academic year which hasn't been actioned on either the app service or in our ILR.  It has come to light as he is changing employer again - how do we now record this as to not cause data match errors and make the data correct?

Thanks

I will not ask the obvious questions but that is a bit of a mess to correct as the funding for last year has already been closed off and employers cannot reserve funding in retrospect on the Apprenticeship Service.

You can only record the changes in line with the guidance, but you may have to withdraw and restart the Apprentice after the DAS accounts have been set up.

When changing an employer on DAS funds don't need to be reserved, you just action the change against the apprentice's record, but wasn't sure if you could use previous year's dates without it causing a data match error.

Hi Christine, did you find a resolution to the above? We have a similar situation whereby the previous employer stopped TAS in June but the new employer had not set up their account. Should we apply the change of employer from June or should we use 1st August to avoid mis-payment?

You could either start with the new employer June, but obviously as it was last academic year you will miss out on payments or withdraw the apprentice as of June 7 restart August, but any OTJ hours the apprentice has completed can't be counted as they weren't an apprentice in the ILR - someone correct me if I'm wrong.

We are going to action the changes as they should have been and see how it appears, not sure how else we can do it as our apprentice has now changed employer twice (the one inbetween not actioned)
