See: P35.2.1 Where the apprentice takes a break in learning and then returns to the same apprenticeship, the apprenticeship agreement must be revised, to account for the duration of the break. It must be clear that there have been multiple episodes of learning. The overall duration of the apprenticeship and the required volume of off-the-job training can remain the same (as though there had been no break in learning).

Break of Learning - Restart date if PED/Close to PED
Created
Hi,
If an apprentice goes onto a break in learning, one month before the would have gone past their end date.
When they return, after a few months on BIL, would you just add the one month from the date they return for their new expected training date or plan for a more realistic time (i.e. 3-4 months according to the tutor).
Kind regards
Wayne
