Hi Dean,
This is a payment that is given to an employer or a training provider, and the use of it is not monitored. The only requirement is that you must ensure that you have evidence that the payment has been passed onto the relevant employer within the timescales stipulated in the funding rules / contract document.
Hope that helps, but don't go spending it all on Prosecco !
Paul.

Provider Additional Payments

Is anyone aware of more specific guidance/rules around the two payments of £500 received by the provider as an additional payment which we retain and how it can be spent.
The main ESFA rules briefly state:
How is this audited and what would we be expected to prove the funds retained by the provider can be spent on specifically? We are a little unsure, and do not want to use it on expenditure that is not appropriate in the eyes of the ESFA.
Any personal experiences, or directions to other information would be greatly appreciated.
Many thanks, Dean.
