learner loan /ilr

we have just been given learner loan finding and have signed up a few learner loan learners , how ever reading the guidence on what codes ect to put on the ILR (we use the free ILR Tool ) there isn’t a lot of help , any help would be appreciated , it’s mainly around the following fields source of funding employment fields and it’s days you use the code ADL in the FAM area but there is a tick box also taht says use of learner loan funding like i say any help appreciated jamie

Yes, if you're using LET, it's just the tick box on the Learning Delivery FAM tab to add the ADL code.

Loans don't have a value in SOF (and should be Funding Model 99).

Going to need a bit more info on which employment fields yr struggling with?

thanks for the reply , i have follow3d the above qnd it seems to be fine , the employer bit is also fine so ignore that , the only issue i have now is that i am getting an error message up when i run it through the ILR validation . 

error is "the planned learning hours have not been returned " even though i have put the hours in the planned hours field ??

any ideas ,

Aha, a classic! Because Reasons, everything except Apprenticeships record planned hours at LEARNER level, NOT the aim level field where we record the OTJ hours for an Apprentice... you'll find the field on the LEARNER FAM tab.

Thanks steve , just one more the planned delivery hours is the actual hours you have contact with them , not the GLH of the qual

It's the hours you plan to deliver to them, not the hours they attend. So if it's 20 weeks for 5 hours a week, you put 100 and it doesn't matter if the learner is absent for a couple of weeks.
