Employer change using transferred funds?

I am trying to work out the funding rules regarding employer changes whereby the new employer can use ‘transferred funds’ but have not been able to find any guidance regarding how this works in practice through the Apprenticeship Service.

All employer changes are made by us, as the training provider, using the ‘edit employer’ function and we do not have the option to select ‘use transferred funds’ as those links are between the sending and receiving employers. If a new employer sets up a DAS cohort linked to the transferred funds, we cannot then process this as an employer change function to retain the original standard version as far as I am aware.

I would appreciate any advice of how this can be achieved. Thanks
