I am looking for some advice on a situation we have currently with a learner.
The learner is at gateway (finished their practical period) and awaiting a date of their EPA (in the next couple of months). Last week the learner informed us that they are leaving their current employer early Feb to a new employer. The learner is moving to a levy employer, and will not be working in the role they are currently due to do their EPA in but they would like to still do the EPA to gain their certificate. My questions are:
1) Can we still do the EPA with the learner, if the new employer agrees?
2) Will we need to assign the EPA to the new employer on the DAS to get the final payments?
3) Will it be a straightforward withdrawal and they cannot do the EPA?
As the learner is leaving on their own accord and have not been made redundant, I am trying to find any solution to this.
