Apprenticeship Account - Training Price of £0

DAS only records the Total agreed apprenticeship price and where learners only have EPA to complete the remaining funding to claim would the completion payment which is 20% of the previous price with the former Provider (20% of Cap).

Thank you for this information, so 20% of previous price needs to be entered for the DAS record. Is the ILR return completed as an unfunded apprenticeship? Slightly confused as to what the TNP values would be. 

Why would it be an unfunded Apprenticeship?

As there will be 20% of funding remaining to be claimed the TNP2 = EPA cost and TNP 1 = 20% CAP – EPA cost where any training is required else 0 where not.

Martin West As these learners are at gateway and just need to complete EPA, i was under the impression no funding could be drawn down for these learners as no new training was being delivered? Apologies if this is obvious - its a first for us to have EPA only learners. Thanks!

In that case as I said previously TNP2 = EPA cost and TNP1= 0 as no training required.

Hi.  Would this apply to a 'new to us' staff member who is coming with their apprenticeship to us? They have completed all learning (awaiting EPA) and their current provider has received all funds except EPA. The provider is asking for us to sign the learner to our DAS account but only for the EPA funding. I am at a loss how to do this. Any help gratefully received. 

The previous provider will have only received 89% of the funding as the remaining 20% is held back for completion and not the EPA amount.
