Hi Laura, I have double checked and the standard is correct on the DAS cohort but I have been doing some more digging this morning through period end and ILR reports and I think the new ILR entry is still pulling the old 'employer identifier on employment status date' from looking at the Apps Monthly Payment report which I am thinking would then be attaching it to the old cohort on DAS. Hopefully that fixes it! Thanks Joe

What permission do you need on the IDAMS to be able to see the accountability dashboard? I logged into our VYED and cant see it as an option. Thanks in advance!

Hi Christina, I would say your interpretation is correct with apprentice wage until they turn 19 backed up by the statement on the Gov website. Apprentices are entitled to the minimum wage for their age if they both: are aged 19 or over have completed the first year of their apprenticeship Hope this helps Joe

Hi Yvonne Not sure if its different for each local authority, but all of the Community Learning we have done in the last few years have needed the learner to be 19+ on or before August of that academic year.

If you haven't already It would be worth taking a look at the 'Apps Monthly Payment Report' this should show you what the clawback was for. Its in the 'period end reports' under submission history. Hope this helps!

Timmo for Strata you just need to run your ILR through the FIS tool and have it export into a Microsoft Access Database then you upload the access doc to the software selecting the academic year and return that the ILR relates to. I normally upload every ILR report I run so then I can see any changes to data live. Like Steve said other products are available but I couldn't give any info on these (I only have experience with Strata)

We found it to be a very tedious process working out QAR manually especially with the 5 year range. We got recommended a piece of software called Strata by Orbital which does all of the QAR calculations and generates lots of different reports based on ILR data. It has been one of the most useful bits of software I have found in a long time could be beneficial for yourself in the future.

We currently have a query in about Planned Breaks and Withdrawals. We have found that withdrawing a learner from a Planned Break without them restarting cant be picked up by the QAR Technical Spec so they sit as an overdue break in learning before dropping off your data at the later of the Planned End Date or Actual End Date then add 1 year. We currently have a Motor Vehicle apprentice who went on a planned break in 2021, but decided not to restart and withdrew in 2021 who is going to have an effect on 25/26 data due to the planned end being 24/25.
