Hi Kei, a few of us are having challenges with this. See here: https://esfahelp.education.gov.uk/hc/en-gb/community/posts/12631494546962-EEF-4-not-triggering-bursary-payment I have a ticket logged at present for my specific case however no response has yet been provided. The guidance provided initially was that EEF4 must be added to the ILR within 60 days of starting however that isn't supported anywhere as far as I can see. Darren

Excellent, perhaps they'll respond to that one before R14 too... today is a cynical day.

Received a response this morning to advise that the relevant team will respond by year end... that would take the request to a possible 3 months before a response is provided which really isn't acceptable.

Steve Hewitt did anything come of you notifying the ESFA that they were giving out incorrect guidance on this one?

Becky O'Brien Christopher Ashfield Been on leave so hadn't seen your comments. I challenged the ESFA position on this and the query was escalated for review a couple of weeks ago. I haven't yet heard back I'm afraid. Darren

Update on this one - the ESFA have advised that the EEF4 must be added to the ILR within the first 60 days to trigger the bursary payment. I've asked them to confirm where this requirement is stated as, unless I've missed it, all I can see is that the payment will be issued once the apprentice has been in learning for 60 days, not that you must have detailed the entitlement on the ILR by that point.

Thanks Martin, the apprentice has been in learning for well over 60 days however the payment has still not been released.

Thanks Henry - interestingly I did search for pre-existing posts before creating this one and the above didn't appear.
