What can be included?  The provider must ensure that off-the-job training delivers new skills that are directly relevant to the apprenticeship standard. Off-the-job training can include:  71.1. The teaching of theory (e.g. lectures, role playing, simulation exercises, online learning and manufacturer training);  71.2. Practical training (e.g. shadowing, mentoring, industry visits and participation in competitions);  71.3. Learning support;  71.4. Time spent writing assignments; and  71.5. Revision (where this is specifically required for achievement of the apprenticeship)
