Hi Steve Haynes This is clawed back automatically by the ESFA. There is no need for you to return through EAS. Kind Regards, Matt

I think the methodology is perhaps a good thing but the implications for training providers are going to be massive. The typical EPA duration for us is 4 months, so this will significantly hit our revenue next year. Our start targets are modest at 330 but we will be losing on average £100 a month per apprentice.

Hi Angela Wilson I received an email from the support desk this morning "We did have an issue with this rule which has now been corrected. So please try again this should work now". I can confirm that I was able to finalise the collection.

Thanks Steve, I will try and dig those contact details out..... The conversation I'm having with one of the employers is that they need to speak to their current training provider and effectively complain about the service and agree on a stopped date. Am I right in saying that the employer is able to add any stopped date to the apprentice record? If they take them back to the start date, all funding will be clawed back or does this need to match what the training provider has inputted on the ILR?

Hi All. Is this a relaxation in the funding rules this year? I always thought it was mandatory that all apprentices completed maths and English initial assessments. Thanks, Matt

Martin West We have been reviewing the H&S document we send out to employers and where you have written "This can be part of any wider conversation on placement arrangements that may take place"... would you expect this conversation to be explicitly written down anywhere? Would adding a statement that this has been discussed in the apprenticeship services contract or funding paperwork be sufficient? Thanks, Matt
