Do you know if an apprentice can start their apprenticeship 4 weeks before starting their practical period?  Simply put, start their new job with a contract of employment to be an apprentice but on the App Agreement and ILR, practical learning starts 4 weeks later?  Are their any time constraints between the 2 dates?

Thanks Martin.  Can I ask how we would then get the remaining funding for the apprentices to continue with a new employer?  Also, one of the learners we have received all OPP for their main aim but still have FS to complete and then the remaining 20% when they go in to EPA?
