We had this problem and I contacted the app service, they advised to process anyway and ignore the warning (it was difficult to convince our employers they wouldn't be charged). App service said; The AS system will only show the funding band warning for new apprentices with a start date within the same month as the revised delivery start date. This is because the Apprenticeship Service defaults to the funding band maximum present on the 1st of the month and in the scenario of recent funding band maximum increases, they are dated as approved for delivery from 26/06/2023. As long as the start date of the learner in your ILR is from 26th June 2023 onwards (start date for the new version); the funding band maximum will be the updated to the increased amount which can be checked in your indicative earnings reports. The employer will not be charged any fees over the funding band maximum as long as the ILR apprenticeship start date and new standard version funding band maximum start dates are in line with each other.

The contribution is 5% of the monthly on programme payment e.g Total negotiated price * 80% / number of installments and then the final 20% on completion. This example would be correct as your monthly OPP is £22,000 x 80% = £17,600/24 = £733.33 (monthly OPP) x 5% = £36.67 At completion it will be 5% of the remaining 20% completion payment

Hi, we've had a few transfers recently and had a similar problem collating their OTJ before they started with us. We contacted the ESFA and they advised we were only responsible for the OTJ they would need to complete during their time with us.

They are sent to the employer, we do request to our awarding bodies that they are sent to the apprentice where they leave the employer but this doesn't always work.

Is there a gap in employment/reason why this isn't recorded as a change of employer?
