Yes we were awarded the standard in March/April (I think.) It was a relief once the email came through considering we submitted our report last July.

Considering subcontracting of apps falls part of the subcontracting standard I don't understand why they wouldn't expect providers to seek approval - strange Yeah, I agree an email should be sent. At least the provider is covering their back.

You are required to seek approval for subcontracting for their first time- see below. There is an email address mentioned in the below guidance https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/subcontracting-esfa-post-16-education-and-training-for-the-first-time/subcontracting-esfa-post-16-education-and-training-for-the-first-time

I've not heard of Citizen cards for British nationals. I'm not sure I'm best to advise you as in the College I work for we always check passports (and in some cases birth certs), we wouldn't accept this for a UK national. I do know of providers that dont check residency documents at all and just go by self declarations. Sorry for not being much help.

Try to avoid the organisation using any learning materials with their branding on as this could imply it’s subcontracting. And payment should be similar to a HPL and not a % of the funding.

Wouldn’t you record the last day in learning rather than the date she left her employer?

Depends what their planned date is. We go with anything within one month of the planned end date is completion no achievement and anything earlier is a withdrawal.

I guess if there are other elements to the WEX other than the placement that's fine but some of our subs only have the placement as WEX and where that didn't happen at all I was told to remove the planned hours completely.
