I mean, in general, they've not been as bad as I feared in terms of *outside* the ILR collections for mainstream stuff [puts bootcamps into a special little corner on their own], it's the different DAM codes to flag exceptions that's the real pain, along with minor tweaks to eligibility and which L3 aims they'll fund (full funding becoming less of an issue with the expansions in ASF)...

Yeah, can't see us ending up with *every* council having their own pot, makes sense for, eg Cornwall, but most of the others are multiples/"historic" borders, eg Lancs and Lincs. I *just about* remember Out Of County learners on Local Authority contracts (not quite old enough to remember pre-FEFC days!!!)... It will all be politics though (Warks should be in WMCA if there was any sense to it!)...

Apologies for teaching you to suck eggs, but it's definitely unzipped, isn't it?

Yeah, there's no exception for devolved learners in England as slightly daft as that seems when there is one for the other nations. Depending on who the devolved authority is, might be worth getting in touch with them to see if they've got any spare funding knocking about, if it's going to be a reasonable number of learners and it's a major employer...

AAF does not equal QAR!!! There was no change to the published methodology and, as these are ONS-endorsed stats, they cannot, to use a technical term, p!ss about with them. Did you double definitely have withdrawal reason as 40? If you have, and there's definitely less than 120 days between aims, then AAF is just wrong...

Urgh, that's going to be a pain... I think you'll have to do a new EmpStat (and everything else, eg TNP3 and, therefore, new agreements) as though they had a new employer and then put notes on the files... I Am Not An Employment Lawyer but I think changing PAYE codes kind of counts as a "new" employer, regardless of contracts...

Is it on a network drive? It does get a bit wobbly if it's not basically in the root of yr C drive... has anything changed in your set up vs last year?

I mean, 15 with big holes in the middle of their programme sounds like a lot, but also, that rather (as USUAL with AAFD) depends on your volume of starts (ie, if you're an HE provider with 20 cohorts, it might not be a lot...). Shame AAFD isn't "the start of the conversation" we'd all been led to think it was, although them terminating a University would probably have more repercussions than a small ITP...

Put my complaint about complaining in last week, let's see what comes of that... Admittedly putting my preferred outcome as "an entire remodelling of the Civil Service so people stick around in one place for more than 18 months" might not be taken that seriously...

That customer "help" reply in full: I understand from your email you are requesting where you can find accurate information of EPAO who can offer standards as some as the previous list was withdrawn on 11/12/2024 stating End-point assessment organisations no longer need to apply to be on a Department for Education register. You also explained that you need to know what codes to use to complete the EPAId field in the ILR. This website allows you to search by standard and will list the EPAO’s that provide that standard. It will also provide contact details of the EPAO as well as the other standards they provide. Find an end-point assessment organisation for your apprentice The EPAO’s you contact will be able to provide their EPAO ID for the ILR. I told them this was a rubbish solution and one person doing this at DfE was infinitely more sensible than 1500 people doing it individually and they told me to make a complaint if I wasn't happy because that's seemingly the script now and, perhaps, explains why the complaint system was swamped... So, now I get to make a complaint about having to make a complaint, so that's a good use of everybody's time...
