Whilst diagnostics may not be mandatory for funding, I'd expect, from a quality of education point of view, they're probably Quite Important to assess the learner's starting point so, much like Skills Scans for 16-18s, I suspect most people will still be doing them universally...

Well the 23/24 LET will only give you a 23/24 ILR, so that's no use anyway. Haven't seen the 24/25 LET but, even if it has D&P fields (and I'd be fairly surprised if it did?) they won't export into the ILR because it's not part of the return. It is literally impossible to return them this year.

No, it's all yours, although obviously, will be 20% of your TNPs, not the total for the whole thing...

oh heck... I ***think*** if you flagged it as a restart and did it as one day, set TNP1 to £1, TNP2 to "EPA cost minus a quid" then it wouldn't error, but the AchDate must be 7 days after ActEndDate, so you'd have to bear that in mind... Wouldn't p a r t i c u l a r l y fancy explaining it to an auditor, but I don't think it breaks any Rule?

Um... is their withdrawal date in this academic year? If so, I think I'd just unwithdraw them... If they were PPED then you've had the 80% so no change there, there will just be a longer gap to their Completion date... Seems less faff than any other way of doing it, you'll have evidence of when they did their EPA to generate the completion so [he says, slightly warily] I'm not sure how much it matters that they've had a bit of a gap in Gateway...

No, the new rule is based on age at start unfortunately, so I can't see any way around it...

Right, but there's just no way to include a D&P record in the 24/25 ILR, regardless of start date, the entity doesn't exist in the schema. Are there not learning aims to use for this (sorry, not an Bootcamp expert)?

Would speak to your EPAO, see what they say. Difficult to tell if the Gateway reqs have just not been updated or it's intentional...

I can't see how this would possibly be enforced, can guarantee the EPAOs won't care.

So, all other things being equal, you'll get paid for it regardless of the date used, the main "fun" is which year it ends up in for QAR purposes. I'd expect the majority of learners with a Planned End Date (ie end of practical period) in June to end up in the following year for Hybrid End Year purposes because most EPAs take more than 6 weeks to happen.
