I'd suggest that applying a BIL at the agreement of the employer would be in the best interest of the learner.  The PSM doesnt take into consideration that sometimes learners are un-reachable (through MH or maybe even emergency treatment) - make sure that you have it all fully documented.    The alternative is you leave them open in the ILR and they become a funding risk.

Just jumping on this one!  I have 1 very similar - been here since 2017 so no issues on the 3 year rule. Visa states "Dependant Partner Leaver to Remain" but doesnt specify Discretionary, Indefinite or Exceptional, etc - does it have to?? thanks

Hi Simon Liversedge how did you get round the NI number issue? Collection requirements state must be collected for FM99 but learners are in a country where this is not used. thanks

Hi Ruth - we know that they cant be funded. But no idea what the rules are to just be able to do an Apprenticeship - unfunded! hmmmm....  might save it til Monday!

Hi - our understanding (and the date we use) in this instance would be 12/10 - as that is the last date you can evidence progression.
