Yes they can..... Record your T Level data correctly in academic year 2024 to 2025 - GOV.UK Students transferring between T Levels and study programmes The same considerations apply whether a student moves from a T Level to a study programme or the other way around. You do not need to change the study programme or T Level planned hours. The funding calculation will use the planned hours recorded for the most recent programme and will disregard planned hours recorded for programmes that a student has transferred off or withdrawn from. The hours recorded for a study programme must reflect the hours planned for the remainder of the year. The hours recorded for a T Level must reflect the hours planned for the remainder of the year plus the hours for subsequent years of study. You must make sure that you record the core aim flag against a learning aim as appropriate.

Are you allowed to do that from T-level to SP? Students who do multiple programmes including a T Level 52. As with study programmes, we do not encourage providers to plan a T Level programme plus other programmes for an individual student in a year. T Levels are full-time programmes and we do not fund students for more than the annual amount for their T Level. Therefore, students who do a T Level and another programme (either a T Level foundation year or another study programme) will only be funded for one programme, whichever is the latest programme recorded. However, students who do an AS or A level alongside their T Level are eligible for the large programme uplift, as long as they achieve their qualifications at the required level.

It would definitely help give learners exposure to work experience as part of their WRA activities which ofsted want to see. However I don't think you could use as an actual placement as you need to show employer agreement, employment days/times etc, reviews and exit reviews.

Same for me Sam Bern It would be really useful if this was fixed before our subcontracting audit in May. PDSATs notifications just states 2024/2025 FIS and ILR reports have now been released in and are available to run. Cross ILR and Sampler reports are still in development and we will be announced when available. Please contact the PDSAT Helpdesk if you experience any issues.

We would only show the positive attendance totals for planned and EEP then adjust it off in the ILR. These should flag on your PDSATs 25Y-210 Where a learner withdraws from any learning aims within the first six weeks of a study programme that is continuing from a previous year, the provider must update the annual planned hours to remove all of the hours within the funding year for these learning aims, except for any hours actually delivered within the first six weeks. For continuing study programmes, the six weeks are measured from the learner's first date of attendance, which might not necessarily be 1st August.

Always been a funny one for employed learners as the employer should complete all the correct checks for eligibility to work. Is the auditor asking for hard copies of their right to work or for it to be referenced better on the enrolment form? Thanks

I've got mine in after a few attempts last week for R06. It does seem to be very hit and miss though each month. [image]

We just close every aim down to the last date of positive attendance recorded. Programme end date is obviously the last aim date that gets closed. We close the sessions for each qual down to the last date of attendance as well to reduce the impact on overall attendance which is a struggle on study programme at the best of times. Working off the 4 week/28 day rule works for us when making leavers, however we do exempt any learners from this if we have evidence of an intention to return. For example a learner with health issues who can evidence doctors appts etc.

We keep ours set to what the plan of learning at enrolment was. Its a potential funding issue if it doesn't match up on an audit according to the working papers. The aim of this test is not for auditors to determine what is or is not a core aim. It is a data check where auditors must ensure that the core aim of the study programme as agreed on the learning plan or learning agreement has been recorded accurately in the ILR. However, note that when a student has work experience as the core aim of their study programme, it must be an external placement. Should the work experience consist predominantly of internal work placement(s), it must not be the core aim. Please note that the core aim is used: a. to calculate future programme cost weighting; b. to determine whether a student is retained on the programme or not, for future funding retention factors; and c. whether the programme consists of substantial qualification, work experience or other. IMPORTANT NOTE: Please do not use the terminology "academic" or "vocational" qualification but use "substantial qualification, work experience or other".
