Please refer to the T Levels funding guide: https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/t-level-funding/t-levels-funding-guide-for-2023-to-2024 Funding is spread over 2 years because T Levels are 2 year programmes.

The advice on this page reflects the Funding regulations guidance. The first two bullet points, relating to reports FRM43 and FRM56, we regard as “data errors that require remedy” and the third is addressed in paragraph 135 below. The reason we’ve asked for data corrections is to ensure any provider selected for a risk-based audit based on high EEP levels is one with high EEP levels rather than simply one making data mistakes. We wish to ensure students’ study programmes are usually focussed on nationally accredited qualifications supported by EEP delivery rather than the other way round. “High needs” flagged students are excluded from our analysis. 135… For non-qualification activity to be eligible for funding, institutions must be able to evidence that they have incurred a cost in delivering the activity that is proportionate to the amount of funding being recorded for this activity … Additional funding audit attention will be made where the amount of EEP activity being funded makes up more than half the study programme funding. Where EEP activity is above this figure, auditors will need to see evidence of costs that can be directly related to the delivery of education …

Dear colleagues We have been made aware of an issue that is currently preventing us from publishing R12 monitoring reports externally. We appreciate that providers will have been expecting to see the R12 reports and data science colleagues are currently investigating the cause of the issue. We will alert colleagues and providers through our twitter account as soon as we are able to publish R12 data into the post-16 monitoring reports dashboard. We recognise this may be frustrating for providers and appreciate your patience and support in this matter.

FMI65 is an internal monitoring rule and not visible to providers via the post-16 funding reports dashboard. It's triggered when T level learners' industry placements do not meet the minimum hours. Please check your T level learners and the hours you've submitted for their industry placements as this applies to more than one learner.

Hello Chris FMI67 is an internal monitoring report and not visible to providers via the post-16 funding reports dashboard. It concerns condition of funding and learners not recorded on maths and/or English when their condition of funding status indicates this is required. These reports are automatically generated by your MIS when you submit your ILR.

Steve Hewitt Thank you for your post. We review data on a case-by-case basis and already include the reported number of planned and actual OTJT hours in the FRM37 report for providers to review. While we are continuing to work with apprenticeship policy colleagues to identify potential thresholds, we will contact providers who appear to be routinely reporting ‘default’ values e.g., 0, 1 as a minimum, to ensure hours are being calculated and reported correctly.

Jayne Shannon Thank you for your post. We are aware of a known issue regarding apprenticeship off the job hours, where there are instances of learners leaving early or taking a break in learning and have planned a fix to remove these records from the report when we release R06 data. Please refer to the “known issues” tab on the post-16 monitoring dashboard where we’ll provide further updates.
