You aren't due any funding for August. You only get paid for months where the student was still in learning on the final day of that month. It's in the the Apps Technical Funding Guide;
45. If the apprentice leaves early, for example, they withdraw from the programme, the monthly instalments stop. We will not calculate a monthly instalment for the final month if the apprentice withdraws before the last day of the month in which the learning stops.

Good morning all,
We have an apprentice who withdrew from their apprenticeship on the 01/08/2022 and we need to get the employer to stop them on the DAS (we have stopped them on our ILR).
As the stop date is the 1st of the month would I request them to stop it in August 2022 - as the DAS defaults to the first day of the month - or would I request they stop it in September 2022 to cover the whole of August?
I know its only a days funding but just wanted to make sure that I am providing the customer with the correct information and it'll be good to know going forward.
