Recording own apprentice in ILR

Edited

None

Could someone please advise and/or point me to guidance in ILR spec or PSM to confirm any specific or special ILR requirements when recording details of an apprentice who is employed by a training provider

I'm aware the TNP1 needs to total actual deliver costs (ie no profit to be made) but any other codes or something specific to identy them as an employed apprentice.

Many thanks

Also, perhaps a obvious question, but if you are registered on RoATP as a Main Provider, can you still claim apprenticeship funding if you want to enrol one of your staff on one of your apprenticeship programmes? I'm sure i know of providers that do this regularly but the Employer-Provider Rules (in isolation) suggest only approved employer-providers can deliver to their own staff?

Hi Dan, you need to add the Code 356 to the Learners ILR on the FAM.

Yes Dan, Main Providers can definitely train their own staff, that bit of the rules is super badly written (haven't got to that bit in the 23/24 Draft yet!)
