Aim gone past Course Validity Date!

Help! We've found we've got a number of Edexcel Accredited aims which when we mark as completed get the dreaded "The Learning aim reference is not valid in the LARS database for this Funding model for this teaching year" error. They have all been fine, have been on there last 2 years + this one, only flag when we try and complete (or withdraw which I've tried), which is odd. We asked Edexcel end of last year if we could still claim they said yes, as they understood progress for these learners had been slower than expected due to Covid restrictions. I'd never clocked LARS Course Validity had passed, and would have expected the issue to flag before this.
Only options I can think of are:
Remove aims from ILR (feels very bad with continuity)
Leave aims open forever (also feels very bad...)
Suggestions what we should do please? One example is 50064927 Certificate in Personal Progress (Entry 1) in case anyone else has come across this and know way out!
Thanks in advance.
Dave

The other option is enter a false AED of 31/08/2022 (or whatever the validity end date is). I think you need to ask ESFA which option they prefer, not least so you've got it in writing if anyone asks why you did whatever you end up doing.

I don't think the AOs always understand all the dates in the LARS. I had a real nightmare a while back where the LDNS had expired on the "Other" category, but the AO insisted it was fine for new unfunded starts. ESFA said it was the AO's responsibility to fix, the AO had no idea what I was talking about. It eventually got resolved, but I don't know how!
