We have a learner who is showing Live on the employers DAS account even though they have completed the course and completed the EPA. We have uploaded all of their evidence onto the ILR but for some reason she is still showing as live we had hoped that it would adjust after the RO8 submission but it hasn't done anything so far.

I am wondering if its possible that it hasn't ended as we haven't received the 20% completion payment yet but we also cant see why this hasn't come in as we have uploaded all supporting pass evidence.

Any ideas would be great and thanks in advance!

It only matters if they're starting a new one I think? I'd be more worried about why the completion payment hasn't come through?

Could be a number of annoying little reasons. Have you got any outstanding data locks or co-investment payments? It won't change to 'completed' until the completion payment has been made

Each apprentice record will have one of the following statuses:

  • 'waiting to start' - apprentices who are waiting to start their apprenticeship training
  • 'live' - apprentices who are currently undertaking their apprenticeship
  • 'paused' - the employer has applied a pause to an apprentice record
  • 'stopped' - the employer has applied a stop to an apprentice record
  • 'completed' - the apprentice has completed their apprenticeship training and assessment and completion payment has been made to the training provider

The learner is planning on going into the next level after completing their level 2 and we are looking into why the completion hasn't come through for the learner with the ESFA online help desk but its being a slow process so far.

We have no data locks for the learner and have recorded the co-investment payments from the employer as they are a non-levy so it has us a bit stumped at the moment.

Thanks for the advice both!

This may be a daft question, but have you added the achievement date to the Standard programme aim in the ILR?

Double check your R08 month end Apps Co-Investment Contributions report, and make sure Percentage of co-investment collected (for all funding years) (column v) is at least 100%. Even 99.9% could potentially be an issue.

Easy fix in the end it turned out one of the Co-investment evidence had not uploaded properly on our system. All sorted now thanks for the help.
