Can someone clarify what we need to do for Multiply courses? We add the learners to a portal run by our Local Authority. Do we also put them on our ILR (FM99, LDM385, etc), or do they go on the local authority ILR?

Thanks

Our local authority confirmed we put them in our ILR as 99 with LDM 385. I couldn't find that out anywhere in writing. I don't know if other authorities have a different opinion.

Ooh, no chance of double counting here, is there [scared face]?

For "normal" Community Learning subbing with an LA, they'd put them in their ILR as FM10, SOF105 and we'd put them in our ILR as FM99, SOF108, but [rhetorical] how will ESFA tell the difference if both of you report it as 385?

Steve Hewitt

Sorry, 385 is an LDM, not a SOF, isn't it. point still kind of stands though...

Our local authority told us they're not putting these students in their ILR, but I'd suggest all providers clarify that in their own area. I definitely think it would be a problem if they were in both ILRs. As you say Steve, how would they know not to count them twice?

Thanks everyone. I'll try to get clarification from the LA
