Apprentice transferring employer and training provider

Hi,
Looking for some advice. We are an employer-provider and we have a learner who is changing their employment to us, so we will also be transferring his training provider to ourselves.
I spoke to the ESFA and they directed me to the articles on transfers, I believe we need to change the apprentice employer with his current training provider first on the apprenticeship service account, then once that is complete change his training provider on the apprenticeship service account, where all dates must a-line to avoid a data lock and provide the new dates and new TNP on the remaining on our ILR for the transfer.
But I can't seem to find any information about what we need to gather from his previous training provider for the evidence pack. Can anyone advise?
