I think so, you can just choose not to put on a break, but I would strongly advise against it. What are the chances that they'll be able to do 6 hours a week? If they can't, they're going to get really behind. Also, the employer is supposed to attend all reviews if possible, so that would be a challenge. I guess it depends on the reason for sickness.

We have a learner who would like to continue studying whilst on sick leave from their employer - reading, completing assignments etc. Is that permissible? Thanks.
