As of this morning (Tuesday 29th August) we have now received just over 4.8 million GCSE results, and approximately 795k A/AS-level results.
It looks like the AOs finished their uploads by COP Friday and these volumes match up with previous years, so it looks like we received all of the GQ results we would expect for this period within approximately 48 hours of the results being released to learners!
As always, if there are any GCSE results missing for learners that you believe should be in LRS (i.e. the learner already has a ULN and attended a state-funded school), then their AO would always be the best first point of contact to investigate (we can't investigate or process personal data that we don't already hold). However, please do keep us informed if you find out why results may be missing so that we can work with all AOs to ensure similar issues don't happen again in the future.

LRS - Summer GCSE & A/AS Level Results 2023

I just thought I’d provide a little update ahead of the release of the summer results.
To support FE sector enrolments, Awarding Organisations have confirmed the summer GCSE and A/AS Level results should be uploaded to LRS and be available by the 25th August. This will ensure the Personal Learner Record (PLR) will be populated with this summer’s achievements. This can reduce provider burden and is available to the FE sector to access.
Typically we expect to see around 5.5 million GCSE and A/AS Level results loaded to LRS each year and we will be monitoring progress carefully. We will also be scaling up the LRS infrastructure to accommodate the increase in activity. We would expect the vast majority of results to be available on the PLR well within 30 minutes of being submitted to LRS by an AO.
