BIL

None

I hope someone can help with this anomaly.

We have an apprentice who had a practical period of 13 months.

A BIL was processed at month 8, they returned for 7 months, having gone past the PPPED and then went on another break.

The learner has now decided to return to learning. Should I use the original PPPED on the paperwork and ILR as the revised PPPED and just give an extension from the return date to calculate the Apprenticeship planned end date?

Many thanks

It's just a finger in the air job* to add a new Planned End Date if they already went past the PED of their most recent period. You just have to estimate how much delivery they have left. You can't use the previous PED because it would be before the new Start Date.

*By which I mean carefully document your workings on why you've picked this duration.

Hi Ruth,

I did think this would be the case.

Thank you for your advice.
