ZPROG Actual End Date

Created

None

Hi,

If there is evidence of activity for the functional skills aims after the main programme aim, so the FS actual end date in the ILR is after the actual end date for the main aim, does the ZPROG actual end date need to be the date of the latest activity (in this example the actual end date of FS aims) or should this always match the actual end date of the main programme aim?

Thanks

We had a disagreement with an auditor over this. ESFA confirmed the Programme Aim Actual End Date is the last day of "active learning", which is defined in the rules as "off-the-job training or English / maths training".

The PSM guidance is the same as what Ruth has said:

The programme must be closed with the Learning actual end date set to the date of the last learning activity for the aim(s).

For standards this would include any aims that make up delivery for the standard including maths and English.
