Apprenticeship Training Plans & RPL

I am.cinfused about Apprenticeship Training Plan actions for RPL. In the RPL section of the rules 25.3.1 t indicates thst if the Provider can't reduce the duration they must still meet the requireme t for otj for the duration in otj which would indicTe we reduce price but don't reduce Planned Hours or Durarion but in the Training Plan section 82.5.2 it indicates that the plan should not include any content that has been identified as prior learning which would suggest we should reduce the hours. But then at audit the Plan would be expected to match the ILR.

Yes there are mode of delivery circumstances where it is not possible to reduce the duration, but the important point is that training costs must be reduced in proportion to the APL as defined in the funding rules. Where this is the case the Apprenticeship agreement and learning plan OTJ hours would still match but would not reflect a reduced duration.
