When entering an apprentice into gateway in the ILR, can this be when all learning has finished or does this need to be when all documentation has been signed and uploaded to the EPA portal to open gateway?
An example is where we have an apprentice that has finished all learning activity and we are awaiting the form signing from the employer as they are on leave this week. Would the date in the ILR be when learning activity had ended or when all documentation is processed the week after?
Another example is where we are waiting for a certificate from the awarding body to open gateway on the EPAO portal. We know that the apprentice has achieved this component to open gateway however we need the evidence to upload this. Would the date in the ILR be when all learning activity had taken place or when we receive this certificate?

The Actual End Date must always be as described in the ILR Spec;
The date that the learner completed the learning activities necessary to achieve the learning aim or the date the learner withdrew from the learning activities, accurate to within a week.
