I'd just totally restart, and write off any OTJ done with employer 1.
Whilst employer 1 didn't get past a month end, so logically no funding would have anything to do with them, these rules suggest that they are liable for the month in which the apprentice left them. You could withdraw on 20th October and restart for employer 2 and use TNP1/2. That will mean the original period won't draw down any funding, and you can apply the full amount to the new period with a new start date. If you code it as a restart, I think you might be able to use the OTJ done with employer 1, but does that then impact on RPL?

Change of Employer TNP03 and TNP04 help
Created
Hi all,
We have an apprentice who started with an employer on October 9th for 2 weeks, finished around the 20th October, they now have a new employer which they started on 01 November. Effectively we hadn't claimed any funding at the point the learner left Employer A.
When we negotiate Employer B, I'd like to put the full cap back in (TNP03/04) with no funding claimed to date as I know employer A isn't going to pay any 5% that was due (weren't a good employer!)
Question:
Does the above sound feasible or should we remove the first months money from the second employers TNP03/04?
My concern is not getting the full co finance 5% element due to employer A not paying and then we run foul of not getting the completion element later down the track.
Any help or advice would be appreciated.
