If they went on a break in learning for legitimate, evidenced reasons and have happened to change employer during the break then I wouldn't overthink it.

Hi,
Question - how to we treat learners who go on a BIL, eg for 5 month, then when due to return announce they have also now got a new employer?
In terms of the start date with the second employer, should the rules for change of employer ie 30 days / then BIL up to 12 weeks have kicked in from the point at which they left the previous regardless of the fact that they were on a BIL?
