Yep, they are AimType 4. My poor choice of wording.
That's fine, but Aptem consultant is insisting that we need to create a programme with an aim type 1 to be able to generate the ILR. I'm a bit lost for words. Our quals can still be set up as aim type 4. I'm thinking of setting up programme aim as ZPROG001 (simply because this isn't going to try to draw down funding if it goes through), but then have this programme aim excluded from the export. It's the only solution I can think of but wanted to see if anybody else using Aptem for GLA AEB has a more elegant solution.
Gonna take the dogs for a walk while I have a think :)
Hi, never used Aptem but I have a feeling it was built originally for apprenticeships? Possibly for structural reasons it always needs to 'group' a learner's aims within a programme aim, even if that doesn't reflect the actual delivery and the aim is not exported to ESFA? Either that or someone hasn't grasped how AEB works.

Aptem AEB main aim

We are looking to move to Aptem for our AEB provision in London. Learners typically do 2 quals, which are input to our current MI system as component aims (this has worked well for the past 4 years). To make the system work for our training team, Aptem are insisting that we create a main aim, which is a pain as it will increase the number of lines on the occupancy report for no reason. Is anybody else using Aptem for GLA AEB, who would be up for a chat? I'm thinking of using ZPROG001 and am looking for feedback. Thanks in advance.
