Skills Bootcamps

Edited

Good morning,

Couple of questions -

1. We are the employer, and the provider - would an employer contribution still be required? I know technically we will be paying ourselves; however just need clarity if we have to record the contribution on the ILR?

2. Would learners attending a skills bootcamp be able to get paid for attending / completing? Or could we retrospectively pay for them for their time on training when the go into work?

Many thanks in advance for any advice and guidance.

Hi, on point 1 there is no requirement or facility to record employer contributions on the ILR for Bootcamp - PMR records are only for apprenticeships. Assuming an employer contribution is appropriate, to keep the ESFA payment at the correct level (70% or 90%) you'd set FFI=2 and, if you are a small or medium employer, OET=2.

Another post that the system doesn't seem to properly pick up so added again.
